Stations with Service policies for people with disabilities

  • Canadian Tire Gas Bar
     
    • Gas Bar Disability Assistance program
    • Individual with disability may have gas pumped for them
    • Must call ahead to book time and make arrangements
    • Appointments must be booked at a time/day when more than one attendant is on shift (policy suggests shift change/other bus hours: car wash, pit stop, propane hours)
    • Will pay self serve price
    • Communicated through door signs and contact #

    • Drivers with disabilities can get full service gas at self-serve prices at participating Esso stations that have both full and self serve pumps.
    • Get full service gas at self-serve prices at participating Esso stations with self-serve pumps only*! All you have to do is call the station approximately 24 hours in advance to ensure that someone will be available to assist you.
    • Need to have a vehicle permit for persons with disabilities to take advantage of this service also states that most stations have:
    • Wheelchair-accessible washrooms
    • Dedicated parking spaces
    • Wheelchair ramps into our stores
    • Store layouts to accommodate wheelchairs
    • Speed pass readers at the pumps and inside the store

    • At "participating "stations with full and self serve pumps customers with a disability may receive self price at full serve pump
    • Does not outline which are participating
    • Customer must have driver with disability permit
    • Provides pay at pump technology
